Color matters II
Posted on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 by adminHaving defined the main characteristics of colors, it could make clear some important aspects concerning the hues and color combinations. As in life itself not happen combine blue pants with a green shirt (in generic terms), web pages goes something like this.
In general, color mixtures should be to "hit" each other. Usually this occurs when using cool colors together, or warm colors together. Equally often appropriate (only appropriate) that cool colors are combined with mixed hot and cold. Curiously, the converse is not true, ie, warm colors tend not get along when combined with a cold mixture and hot.
For example, blue (cold color) is mixed well with purple (color mixture of blue-and-cold-hot-red). Also blue is blended nicely with purple (blue and pink).
